#Why we started
Every franchise team we worked with had more software than ever, and less of a picture. One tool ran royalties, another ran audits, a third held agreements, and the spreadsheets in between held everything else. Then AI arrived and made it worse: every product bolted on its own assistant, each one able to see a single slice of the business and none able to see the whole unit.
Our clients felt it most. They could tell AI should change how a franchise network is run: catch a struggling unit before the royalties slip, connect a failed audit to the fix and the fix to the numbers, take the busywork off HQ and the owners. But an assistant that only sees one tool can't do any of that. The data that matters lives in six places, and the AI was stuck in one.
So we started Brandafai to build the foundation first: one record of every unit, shared by the franchisor and the franchisee, covering openings, audits, royalties, agreements and the work between them. With that in place, AI has something real to work from. Atlas, our assistant, sees what each person is allowed to see across the whole network, explains what it finds, and suggests the next step. A person still makes every decision.
We'd rather build one system that franchise teams trust than another tool they have to reconcile.
#What we believe
- Franchisees are partners, not seats. Owners and their teams use Brandafai at no extra cost, because a system only works when the people running the units are in it.
- Numbers should reconcile. Royalties, reported sales and P&Ls are checked against each other before anyone acts on them.
- A fix isn't done until it holds. Audit findings carry evidence, review and a re-check.
- AI assists, people decide. Atlas drafts and suggests within each person's permissions; every change it proposes waits for a person to confirm it.
#How we handle your data
Each network's data is kept separate at the database level, access follows each person's role, and sensitive actions are logged. Customers can export everything they hold at any time. Read more in our privacy policy.
